This privacy statement is prepared primarily in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) (PDPA)]. We would like to inform you that the Company will process your personal data in order to process your application for employment, assess your suitability for employment with us and to communicate with you.

1.  Purposes

The Company will process your personal information on the following bases and for the following purposes:

1. To process your application and conduct recruitment process;
2. To assess your suitability for employment with us;
3. To arrange interview and communicate with you;
4. To maintain employment related record as necessary for managing performance records; and
5. To comply with legal obligations, legal proceedings, or government authorities’ orders.

 

The Company may revise this privacy statement from time to time. We will inform you of any changes and announce any material changes to this privacy statement on our website.

 

2. Personal Data

Personal data which we may collect includes your:

1. Name, nickname, gender, photograph and date of birth;
2. Resume/Curriculum Vitae (CV), educational qualifications and professional qualifications;
3. Contact data such as address, telephone numbers and email addresses;
4. Certificates and licenses;
5. IP Address or any data collected by cookies and other similar technologies;
6. Details of other family members, including emergency contact information, and family details such as marital status, information about your family and lawful spouse (e.g. title, name, last name, age, their relationship with you, number of children, occupation, place of work, and telephone number)]; and
7. Information provided as part of interviews and assessments.

 

3. Retention Period

The Company will retain your personal data for 2 years after the end of the relevant recruitment process for our future consideration, except:

1. If your application is successful, we will process your personal data for purposes regarding employment with us.
2. Where required by a job applicant or authorized by law
3. We will cease to retain your personal data, or remove the means by which the data can be associated with you, as soon as it is reasonable to assume that such retention no longer serves the purposes for which the personal data were collected, and are no longer necessary for legal or business purposes.

 

4. Disclosure

The Company will not disclose any of your personal data to any third party without your consent, except where necessary in the following situations:

1. Obotrons Corporation Limited and/or T&B Media Global (Thailand) Company Limited and/or OBO, T&B and DTGO group companies, including those located outside of Thailand in which a standard of protection is at least comparable to that provided under Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019)
2. Third parties providers that provide services to support our management of organization; and
3. Regulators and governmental agencies where your personal data is legally required to be disclosed to regulators, law enforcement agencies, courts or other government authorities.

Your privacy is of utmost importance to us, and it is our policy to safeguard and respect the confidentiality of information and the privacy of individuals.

 

5.Your Rights 

Under certain circumstances and subject to certain exemptions under applicable data protection laws, you are entitled to the following rights:

1. Right to access – to request access to and obtain a copy of your personal data, or to request the disclosure of the acquisition of your personal data;
2. Right to rectification – to request us to correct or update any inaccuracy of your personal data;
3. Right to object – to object any processing of your personal data by us based on our legitimate interests;
4. Right to be forgotten – to request us to delete or anonymise your personal data where the personal data is no longer necessary for the processing purposes;
5. Right to restrict processing – you have the right to restrict our processing of your personal data
6. Right to withdraw consent
7. Right to lodge a complaint – to lodge a complaint to relevant authority in case that we process your personal data unlawfully or not in compliance with applicable laws.

 

6.Withdrawing Consent

The consent that you provide for the collection, use and disclosure of your personal data will remain valid until such time it is being withdrawn by you in writing.

Upon receipt of your written request to withdraw your consent, we may require reasonable time for your request to be processed and for us to notify you of the consequences of us acceding to the same (as the case may be). In general, we shall seek to process and effect your request within thirty (30) days of receiving it.

Please note that withdrawing consent does not affect our right to continue to collect, use and disclose personal data where such collection, use and disclosure without consent is permitted or required under applicable laws.
